JOSEPH DORUELO OFF TO THAILAND TO COMPETE IN THE MISTER GLOBAL 2015 PAGEANT
Reigning Mister Global Philippines titleholder, Joseph Doruelo is set to leave for Thailand next week to comptete in the Mister Global 2015 pageant - the finals of which is slated on march 14, 2015. This is the pageants 2nd year and features around 30 contestants from all over the globe. Current Mister Global 2014 is Marco Victor of Myanmar.
Doruelo , a 20-year old Registered Nurse and model from Caloocan City has been active in his advocacy on health awareness among Filipinos. 'As Mister Global Philippines, I am the image of a person who leads a healthy lifestyle. By being that, i hope to inspire and help educate Filipino people about healthy habits and proper exercise and the benefits of living a healthy body, mind and spirit."
Doruelo also aims to win the first Mister Global title for the Philippines. In the inaugural staging, Philippine representative Wilfredo Placencia Jr placed 4th Runner-up in the competition.
